(2) Aaron Rubinstein and I just launched 1039 Records, the new label arm of the Pool Improvised Music Series. our first release is out next Friday 9/4, and is a burning trio set featuring Chris Pitsiokos (alto sax), Javier Areal Velez (prepared guitar), and myself on drums, recorded January 2020 live at Downtown Music Gallery. Nate Sherman mastered the audio, Nicholas Ross did the beautiful collages for the cover + CD. very grateful that Lurker Bias is also putting the album out on cassette! 1039 will be donating 50% of proceeds equally between the NAACP and the Black Mental Health Alliance. pre-order (CD/DL) and stream here:

New Elaine the Singer demo is out, recorded over a year ago at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley by Robert Kirby and mixed by Ian Keith Henry. Elaine is a side project of the band Floral.
